The tree that refused to believe it was winter

Hey,

I’ve just discovered this website called PhDTree, which is awesome because it shows that science-wise I am a great-great-great-great-great-great-great child of Siméon Denis Poisson.

And then I’ve looked at the genealogy of all of my French colleagues and they are all descendants of him, which is rather annoying.

Poisson, whose ancestors include Laplace, Lagrange, D’Alembert, Euler, and Bernoullis father and son! All former juvenile fishes indeed :-)
